• Standard delivery is free and can take 3-5 working days
• Next working day delivery is £3.99 and should arrive on the next working day, for orders placed before 1 p.m.

UK Offshore, Channel Isles, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland and ROI
• The actual cost of shipping may be different to that shown at checkout
• If so, we will contact you before processing the order, so that you can decide whether or not to proceed with the order

Sorry, we only deliver to UK addresses

• We dispatch orders Monday to Friday, we do not dispatch orders at weekends or on public holidays
• If you order on a weekend or a public holiday, your order will be processed on the next working day
• We do not offer same day delivery
• Next working day delivery cut-off time is 1 p.m. This may change during especially busy periods

We are proud of our customer service and work hard to get all orders out to you in excellent condition, as soon as possible. If you have any problems or questions about an order, please contact us right away on 

Next day delivery
• If an item has not arrived on the specified date, please email us immediately on or contact the courier directly.
Standard delivery
• If your order has not arrived 10 days after ordering, please contact us. If the item can’t be located and there were no errors with the address given, then we can offer to refund you or resend the order.

Returns/Exchanges/Faulty Items
If you are not completely satisfied with an item you have purchased for any reason, then you are entitled to return the order for a refund or exchange. Please contact us first on with your order details and let us know.

Please note, this policy excludes all products with a use by date, or personalised items, which are exempt from this legislation.

We will consider refunds if there has been an error on our part, but this excludes where we have had to amend a personalisation due to not being given the correct details on the order. Please contact us for details.

If you wish to return an item, please send: -
• a note outlining your reasons for the return
• your order reference number
• your full name, address and contact details
• the product with all warranty cards, manuals etc. in the original box

Britten & James does not compensate for any costs incurred in returning items.

If you are returning an item because of an error by us or any part of the breach of Sale of Goods Act, we are more than happy to supply you with a free returns address. Please email us for details. In all other circumstances, you will be solely responsible for these charges and any other service charges involved in your original order (i.e. gift wrapping, postage, and packing).

Cancelling orders
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order, we will help if we can. However, once your order has changed to shipped, we are unable to cancel it.

Products damaged during delivery, or arriving faulty
We will immediately replace any damaged products, providing that we are notified within 7 days of your receipt of the goods. If we cannot replace a defective item, we will offer an alternative or refund you in full.
