Calciworms are a great source of calcium protein and fat, and are a meaty, easy-to-digest for many creatures including hedgehogs. They should not be a main food source though, as they don't have the full range of nutrients that hedgehogs need. See hedgehog food for a nutritionally balanced mix with the right ratio of calcium to phosphorus and added Vitamin D₃, which together support healthy bone density.
