Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible for a trade account? We welcome applications from anyone who needs a lot of dog treats on a regular basis, delivered to a UK mainland address. This includes retailers, vet practices, dog rescues, farms, boarding kennels, groomers, trainers, dog walkers and charities.
My company isn't up and running yet, can I still apply for an account? Absolutely, we are happy to support start-ups, feel free to apply!
What is the minimum order requirement for trade customers? Our minimum order value is £250 excluding VAT, and includes free shipping within UK mainland.
How much can I save with trade pricing? Because of the minimum order value, we are able to offer lower prices for trade orders. You will get full access to our latest prices when your trade account is approved.
Are your trade products branded 'Britten and James'? No, our trade products are sold to you without branding, and are sold without the right to use our name, logo, images, or refer to Britten and James in any way.
Can we buy branded Britten and James products through our trade account? You can buy our Britten and James retail packs without any minimum order requirement. We do not currently sell branded Britten and James products for resale but may if there is enough interest. If you are interested in that please email trade@brittenandjames.com with the products and quantities that you are interested in.
Are the trade treats the same quality as your retail range? Yes, our trade range uses exactly the same high-quality, natural, single-ingredient treats and functional treats as our retail range, treated with the same care.
I already have a trade account, where do I log in? At the top of the page, to the right of our search bar, click on the words 'Sign in'. (Here's a shortcut though: Sign in)
Can I get trade pricing on other products in your range? We may be able to offer trade pricing on other products. Email us on trade@brittenandjames.com with the details of what products and quantities you need, and we'll see what we can do for you.
Do you do starter packs? We do not currently offer starter packs, so we suggest that you try any products you are interested in by
- buying the smaller quantities from our retail range, with no minimum order value
- buying relevant selection boxes or
- if neither of these work for you, please email trade@brittenandjames.com with the products and quantities that you would like in a starter pack. We may be able to create one for you.

Trade Terms and Conditions

Applying for your account is subject to acceptance of our terms and conditions.

We know terms and conditions are not the most exciting things to read, but it is vital that you do read them! We work hard to provide a great service and excellent products. The T&Cs let you know how that works, and what you are agreeing to do and not do. For example, our Intellectual Property protection (can you use our brand name and images? - find out in point 17), how quickly do you have to let us know if there are any problems with your order, and how to change a delivery address if you've put the wrong one in.
