Wild birds face special challenges in Spring and Summer. Still recovering from the stresses of Winter they must build nests and also get themselves into breeding condition. Our Spring and Summer mix has been designed to help them do just that.
It contains high energy ingredients and combines the correct balance of vitamins, minerals, proteins and trace elements for strength and egg production. This mix really helps fledglings to develop a strong skeleton, assists in fast tissue growth and builds up the immune system. Finally we have added aniseed which is not only excellent for digestion but it also acts as an attractant and helps the birds to locate the food.
Contains: sunflower hearts, pinhead oatmeal, millet, groats, niger seed, jap type millet, oyster shell grit (a good calcium source), milo, split maize, suet pellets with insects, suet pellets with berries, dried mealworm, vegetable oil (human consumption grade) and aniseed oil. Supplied in a convenient 5 litre stay-fresh resealable tub which avoids wastage.
Attracts goldfinches, bullfinches, nuthatches, robins, tits, blackbirds, sparrows, woodpeckers, brambling and many other species.
